Optimization of Screen-Hole-Clearing Devices for Mechanized Residual Film–Impurity Separation

The airflow velocity in some nozzles is low, and the clearing of nozzle ineffective because unreasonable pipe arrangements distance from to screen surface screen-hole-clearing devices for trommel-sieve-type residual film–impurity wind separators. In present study, main structure working parameters affecting hole clogging situation were determined through theoretical analysis computational fluid dynamics simulations. addition, a three-factor, three-level quadratic regression orthogonal center rotation combination test was performed. surface, fan speed, number pipes selected as factors, ratio impurities film blockage holes evaluation indexes. results indicated that reduced by 2.42% 1.92% at nozzle-to-screen 102 mm, speed 24 m/s, with four air pipes. resulting impurity 5.86%, pores 5.41%. minimum 15.8 m/s each position optimized device satisfied requirements blockage. Furthermore, remained unchanged during continuous operation device. This had stable performance. study may provide framework future development screen-hole--clearing devices.
